About the Event

Info for Riders

The former Robert Hobbs Memorial Road Race is back for a spectacular finish. This year the finish will be on the recently refurbished Carmarthen Velodrome. The race will have a 'Tour of Flanders' feel with the 'bryniau' (Welsh word for hills / bergs) and a 'Roubaix' style velodrome finish. We aim to reward the worthy winner with a substantial prize.

Previous winners include Welsh cyclists Matt Postle, Matt Beckett, Julian Winn, Anthony Malarczyk and Simon Bray along with English riders Mark Lovatt , Mark McKay, Jeremy Hunt and Phil Collins from Ireland. The 2014 winner was Poland's Marcin Białobłocki and Tom Baylis in 2015.
