HSBC UK Go-Ride Holiday Coaching Camps offer training and education dedicated to specific levels of rider over a range of disciplines. Camps are available at two levels.

If your child is new to cycling or not a regular at a club or races then the beginner’s camps are for them. These offer the participant a chance to develop and become proficient at a range of core cycling and bike handling techniques that will prepare them for their first club session or race.

If your child has experience of racing and is a Go-Ride Club regular then there are advanced camps. There will be the chance to improve on the skills developed at their club as well as look at techniques across disciplines that will progress your child to the next level of their cycling journey.

About the Event

Info for Riders

Level of camp-

This camp is aimed at beginner to advanced riders. Riders will be split into ability groups on the day. ALL RIDERS MUST BE ABLE TO RIDE A BIKE.  

Suitable for-

6 to 16 year olds

Cycling disciplines covered-

Closed road circuit, traffic free 

What to expect-

These sessions will cover core Road techniques (traffic free environment), such as gear selection, group riding, starts, climbing and descending, cornering and taking hands off bars to perform tasks such as drinking and eating.

Please bring – A working bike, helmet, gloves, packed lunch, snacks, plenty of drinks, suncream, waterproofs, spare dry kit, puncture repair kit or spare inner tubes. Optional items to bring are a picnic blanket or deck chair.

Car parkingThere is a free car park at the sports centre


Times - The camp runs from 12pm - 3-30pm -  please arrive at 11-45am to allow yourself time to sign on.
