Monday 28th May - 12pm Llanbadarn Village, Aberystwyth

After the spectacular scenes from 2016 where this new event stole the show at AberCycleFest. We're inviting 32 all-comers to take on the notorious 25% Cefn Llan hill to try and win the £500 prize from sponsors EDCO wheels. 

Riders will start in pairs with each winner progressing to the next round, with a repechage events for the first round losers.

The climb, pronounced 'Kevn Llan', meaning 'Back of the Church' is a 200 metre monster, with a gradient of 25% and by far the steepest climb in the locality. Riders will start at the junction with Primrose Hill at the bottom, and ride to the finish line just prior to the entrance to Aberystwyth Science Park at the top.

The event will be limited to only 32 riders.

This event is run as a dual hillclimb elimintaor, sponsored by Edco-Wheels with £500 up for grabs for the winning rider.

The format is knockout, with the first round winners going through to the Cup competition, and the losers going into the Plate competition. The Plate winner will receive a product prize from EDCO.

We have a max entry of 32 riders.
