Event Overview

For 25 years The 3 Days of Bedford was arguably the greatest amateur Women's stage race in the country; providing the oppourtunity for many women to progress onto better things and bridging the divide between the National Women's Road Series and other races it moves this year away from Bedford to the Aylesbury Vale Villages on the borders of Beds/Herts and Bucks.

The HQ for the entire event will be Cottesloe School in Wing.

The format for the race will see the same as previous iterations of 3 Days:

Saturday AM: 4km Prologue ITT Stewkley to Wing
Saturday PM: 77km Road Race on Stewkley Circuit
Sunday AM: 70km Road Race on Mentmore Circuit
Sunday PM: 15km TTT on Long Mentmore Circuit
Monday: 100km Road Race on Cublington Circuit with Finish Circuit

Time Bonuses will be awarded on each Road Race stage:

10 seconds for 1st, 7 seconds for 2nd, 3 seconds for 3rd and 1 second for 4th


Points will be awarded for QOM and Sprint Competition:

5 points for 1st, 3 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd and 1 for 4th
