Hosted by the University of York Cycling Club, we welcome you to ride this signposted route into the North Yorkshire countryside, with around 3,500 ft of climbing in just under 70 miles. The rolling terrain and scenic views make this an enjoyable ride for all abilities.

Free tea, coffee and cake will be served at the University upon your arrival back from the ride. 

Sign on fees will be used to make a donation to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Info for Riders

This ride is unsupported and riders are expected to make it round on their own steam.  FREE Parking at the University of York, Car Park South, (Heslington Lane,YO10 5NA Heslington West Campus). Ride commences at 10:00am, sign on open from 9.00am follow the signs to sign on, rider briefing 9.45am outside the Roger Kirk Centre. Please arrive in good time. The route will not be signed. Coffee/tea and cake are all available after the ride.  Students can enter for £4 on the day. Changing rooms, WC and showers are available nearby at the Sports Centre. Please do not wear cycling shoes inside the centre. Students who enter online will be reimbursed on the day to make their entry £4.
