Swallowfield Velo Club are proud to promote in memory of Simon Brooke the late owner of Rotec Cycles;
The Simon Brooke Memorial Round Reading 150 Reliability Ride
taken from a 2014 pilot riders are invited from all aspects of the cycling community to take on the 150/100/50 mile challenge through Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire and independently circumnavigate themselves around the route within the set time period.
We have also added a 5 mile Family Ride
There are no feed stops, there is no signage, no mechanical assistance or marshals.
All you get is a time limit to complete the course in, a GPX file or map and a list of bike friendly cafes on route and where they are.
This is all in aid of Charities chosen by the Brooke family:
