Cycle Sportive , Hertfordshire – Sunday, 10 Jun 2018

Event Summary

Event Overview

A day of charity bike rides raising money for Mudlarks. There are 3 rides to choose from:

a) A 40k road route along quiet lanes and roads. Map, GPS co-ordinates, and route profile will be available for this route.

b) A 45k off road trail for mountain bikers, heading across the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.

c)  A 100k challenge. Starting in the same direction as the 40k, then off on a lovely circuit of North East Herts. Map, GPS co-ordinates and route profile will be available for this route.

All routes will have full sportive back up with signage, marshalls, medical and mechanical support in case of emergency. There will be friendly refreshment stops along the routes, changing facilities and toilets at the start and finish.

There is parking available at Waterford Village Hall for the start of the rides.

We will be celebrating the finish with a ‘micro-festival’ featuring bands, locally brewed beers, teas, cakes and a barbecue.

Mudlarks is a Hertford based charity, providing horticultural therapy and training for adults with learning difficulties and mental health issues. We support people to lead fulfilling lives beyond school, teaching practical and social skills at our community allotment site.
