The Background
This is the Long Leg Tours season opener and gives you a perfect driver to start your training for 2018 and be ready for the season ahead. With the long route travelling all the way to the Chilterns an area of outstanding natural beauty it will provide a fantastic setting for the challenging ride. 2017 was hugely successful and comes widely recommended by the riders who completed to routes.
There two fantastic routes to choose from:
The short route is around 40 miles, this covers two counties and has 1300ft of elevation with one great food stop. Starting in St Neots we head south west past the Cardington hangers through Old Warden, we then head north passed the Shuttleworth collection through Moggerhanger and over the river great ouse before arriving back in at the HQ via Bushmead road.
The long route is around 80 miles, this covers three different counties and has 3300ft of elevation with two great food stops. Starting in St Neots, we head south west skirting round Bedford, and through Shefford before arriving in the stunning Chilterns with great roads and magical views. We continue and start to head north passing RAF Henlow and The Shuttleworth collection through Moggerhanger and over the river Great Ouse before arriving back at the HQ via Bushmead road.

About the Event
Info for Riders
There is limited parking at the HQ and a parking space can be reserved for £2 when booking, there are a number of car parks very close by. This event is limited to just 300 riders, online entry closes on Saturday 3rd March at 19:00. On the day entry will only be avalible if the event is not sold out and will be subject to a £5.00 surcharge, so dont delay enter today.
The routes are subject to slight changes and will be confirmed before the event.
