Event Overview

Women & Girls Rider Development sesssions provide dedicated coaching for people wanting to improve their cycling performance whether that is to ride further faster and more often with family and friends or to win bike races. Using traffic free facilities Go-Ride Coaches will help riders:

  • Ride with friends and others of similar ability
  • Develop bike handling techniques
  • Learn about group riding techniques and etiquette
  • Practice racing and learn about the demands of cycle sport
  • Develop cycling fitness

This MTB session is for women and girls (13+) only, this session has a heavy focus on skill development and aim to give the riders the skills to become better riders. Concentrating on the main core skills of mountain bike riding and pitched at beginners-intermediate riders. We will cover front wheel and rear wheel lifts, attack position, cornering, manuals, track stands a more. Spaces for this session is extremely limited.

The session starts at 10am and finishes at 3pm

Info for Riders

This MTB session is for women and girls (13+) only, this session has a heavy focus on skill development and aim to give the riders the skills to become better riders. Concentrating on the main core skills of mountain bike riding and pitched at beginners-intermediate riders. Spaces for this session is extremely limited. Please come to the session appropriately dressed with warm and waterproof clothing, gloves and a helmet. Also bring plenty of water and food for lunch or money for the restaurant. Make sure your bike is in good working order and is fitted with flat pedals, NO CLIPS ALLOWED!! I will have some spare flat pedals with me.
