Event Overview

Join us for a fantastic cycling experience through beautiful Yorkshire countryside

New for 2018, this fabulous charity cycling sportive will take you from the outskirts of historic York on a circular route through the Vale of York and into the Yorkshire Wolds. Enjoy some lovely scenery as you cycle along mainly quiet roads and pass through picturesque villages, with amazing views from the top of the Wolds.

You'll experience a great day in the saddle whilst helping to raise much needed funds for the RSPCA York, Harrogate & District Branch and our Animals Home in York.

There are three routes to choose from, with the longest suitable for the more experienced cyclist or sportive rider and the other two will appeal to novice and less experienced cyclists alike:

  • The Dog's Dinner at c103 miles
  • The Cat's Whiskers at c56 miles
  • The Bunny Hop at c33 miles

All fully signed routes will have manned feed stations to supply your needs whilst you enjoy your cycling. There will also be mechanical & medical support, a broom wagon and at the Finish line you will be cheered in and receive your medal and a goody bag.

Entry is only £35 online (on the day entry will be available but will cost £40). There is no obligation to raise sponsorship or fundraise or make a donation, though if you choose to do so it will be very much appreciated.

Take part in this cycling event and help us to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted animals.

Please note that online entry closes on Sunday, September 16th
