Police Omnium Championship and Support Races

Event Summary

Event Overview

Omnium Championship for Police officers, Police staff, both current and retired. Comprising of six events for this Championship including 2 x scratch races, 500TT, 2km Pursuit, Elimination and a Points race.

The support races will be run inbetween the omnium races. Between 11am and 2pm there will be racing for a Women only group, all bunch races.

The second set of support races will be run inbetween the latter half of the omnium races starting at 2.00pm and running til 5.30pm. These races are for Youth riders, provisionally there will be four groups, Youth Girls(A+B), Youth A, Youth B, and Youth C. These races will again be bunch races.

The Omnium Championship is for Police personnel current or retired only. Riders require a BC race licence and a track accreditation from one of the indoor velodromes. If you have any concerns please contact the Event Organiser

The support races for Youths will be very much in the format and length of the same categories in the Derby Arena Youth Track League

Due to the Womens group being cancelled, there is opportunity for Masters40+ to enjoy 6 races, scratch, devil, points and a couple of mixed format races. Lots of laps to enjoy.
