Ey Up! Welcome to The Yorkshire Corker 2018 - 'Gerron yer Bike' for Charity!

The aim of the event is to RAISE, RIDE AND INSPIRE. 

RAISE money for a variety of charities, Enjoy the RIDE in a non competitive environment, taking in North Yorkshire's spectacular views and to INSPIRE people to get into cycling. The ride is a NON COMPETITIVE sportive and is scheduled to take place on Sunday 3rd June 2018 at York St John Sports Park, in York. 

There are 3 beautiful and hilly routes to choose from,

THE STEIN (114 Miles) One of Yorkshire's Toughest Rides, Includes the 10/10 rated infamous Rosedale Chimney and Wass bank (7257ft)

THE FULL PINT (60 Miles) A beautiful scenic ride with a few killer climbs in, Includes Terrington bank, the stunning Castle Howard (3224ft)

RAISE

The aim of the ride is to raise as much money as possible for a variety of charities. A large proprotion of your entry fee this this year will go to :- 

1) The York Teaching Hospitals Charity - (Improving Healthcare Facilities) https://www.yorkhospitals.nhs.uk/get-involved/york-teaching-hospital-charity/

2) Lollipop York - (Charity for Children with Hearing Loss) www.lollipopyork.org.uk/

3) Quebeka - (Bikes for Children in Africa) http://qhubeka.org/

There is no sponsorship required to take part in the event as donations are collected through the entry fees. However, If you do want to go that extra mile and raise funds feel free to add it to the Event's Virgin Money Giving https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Team/TheYorkshireCorker2018

Sunday 3rd June 2018 sees the Second Yorkshire Corker. Starting out from the New York St John Sports Park York, Riders will enjoy a beautiful day’s cycling through some of the most stunning landscape North Yorkshire has to offer.
