About the Event

Info for Riders

This is a para-cycling session with 2 groups. One for beginners and one for more experienced track riders. Group 1 for beginners will be taken through the basics of track riding with their coach and work towards being able to ride the track with other people and complete a short time trial. Group 2 for more experienced riders will be able to work with the coach to develop their cycling techniques to meet their needs and aspirations. Riders in this group should email the coach and let them know if they would like to practice group riding, do pursuit efforts, sprint efforts or other activities and these shall be worked into the session plan. The 2 groups will alternate being on the track with each other so that while one group is recovering and getting fedback from their coach, the other can be on the track. There are helmets, bikes and shoes available to loan and the National Cycling Centre has lots of ancillary facilities such as changing rooms, cafe and spectator areas
