Fingers crossed there will also be a BBQ, fun bike games and a tuck shop running. Categories from U6 to U16, with a fun adults' race at the end of the day if demand allows.

Lotts Wood can be found SE of Hyde Heath village, and just north of the A413, north of the railway line. Parking is on the fireroad opposite the entrance to Lotts Wood in Weedon Hill Woods. Please park considerately so that people can exit. Please exercise caution when crossing the road to the event as people do drive too fast on this road.

About the Event

Info for Riders

Lotts Wood is a technical off-road environment used for Go-Ride coaching and coach-led racing. Please ensure you have a functioning MTB bike with treaded tyres and gears to take part in this event. Knee pads are also recommended if the ground is wet as exposed flints can be sharp if you land on them!

Racing starts at 10.00am and racing will proceed in the following order:

U6 (2 short lap/8 mins) - 10am

U8 (4 short laps/12 mins) - approx start time 10.10am

U10 (1 full lap/20 mins) - approx start time 10.30am

U12 (2 full laps/30 mins) - approx start time 10.31am

U14 (3 full laps/45 mins) - approx start time 10.32am

U16 (4 full laps/60 mins) - approx start time 10.32am (U16/U14 race together)

Please can all riders be ready to ride at 10.00am (regardless of their XC start time). A rider briefing explaining the 'round robin' style running order will preceed all events at 9.55am.

When riders have completed their XC race they can complete a MTB skills course with penalty points for 'dabs' and mistakes, a timed hillclimb event and also a surpise fun event. Points will be awarded for all events and winners decided in 'omnium' format.

There will be overall winners in each category (male and female) and spot fun prizes.
