Event Summary

Event Overview

The very popular Ryedale Rumble is making its long awaited return to the Sportive calendar in July 2018. Now being run by the Friends of Ryedale School to help raise funds for our small but outstanding school the Rumble has a few changes of route but essentially is still the same exhilirating and arduous challenge that it always was.

Taking in the North York Moors, the Howardian Hills and of course Ryedale itself, the routes offer an amazing contrast of spectacular far flung vistas, stunning scenery and quiet country roads. We hope the three routes offer something for everyone.

The three routes on offer are 169.9 km, 120.5 km and 79.3 km. The long route takes in the now traditional monument climbs of Boltby Bank, Blakey Bank and Rosedale Chimney Bank.  The third route has been altered the most to take into account the new start HQ of Ryedale school itself. We will still be offering well stocked feeding stations along the routes with savouries, homemade cakes and gels.
