Event Overview

A non competitive charity bike ride from the Dewsbury Ambulance station, Dewsbury District Hospital to Bridlington Harbour 76 miles. This is one of our annual charity fund raising events. Cyclists are encouraged to raise sponsorship and raise funds that go towards supporting local charity causes. Non sponsored cyclists will need to pay £30 to off set the costings of the event.

About the Event

Info for Riders

The ride will start at 0800 after the event briefing.

A route map and directions are available from the web site and also on the day. We have many cyclists that know the route well, new to the event cyclists are encouraged to join a group. We have back up vehicles and several designated feed stops. A welcoming team will be at the Harbour. We have a truck to return bicycles to the Ambulance station and a coach for participants. Sponsored cyclists have free coach travel non sponsored cyclists will have a place as part of the entry fee. Coach return travel at 1800hrs. Supporters can catch the coach from the Ambulance station to meet the cyclists in Bridlington for a small fee. Showers facilities are available at the Leisure centre free of charge (please bring swimwear). Pre register is essential for logistic planning so please visit the website and contact those listed on the cycle ride information leaflet.
