About the Event

Info for Riders

While only 100k, this is not an event for beginners or weaker riders. The early climbs are testing and Kirkstone Pass comes after 40 miles of riding, offering stunning views from the summit but a very steep and long climb to get there. Online entries (only £20) are via www.Sientries.co.uk and there will be a feed station and progress check-in at Pooley Bridge en route with refreshments at the finish. Riders averaging 15mph plus on the Si timing get a Gold Standard certificate; with Silver for 14mph plus and Bronze for all who finish. There will be a following Sag Wagon for anyone in difficulty. And riders can start any time between 8am and 9.30am.
