Event Overview

Deeside Thistle are hosting the mid summer road race on a new route. This road race course has now been changed to what was originally advertised.

The location of the start and finish will remain as planned.

This race is now only 2 x laps of approx 66 miles in total. Leaving Premnay to the B992 taking a left at the junction at Insch, onto the B9002 travelling along to Kennethmont then at the Gartly junction take a left onto the A97 toward to Rhynie and remaining on the A97 through Lumsden staying on this road which is the A944 heading to the Brig of Alford where a left will taken, heading to Montgarrie to Keig on the B992 up and over the Brindy hill and down into Premnay and continue towards Insch onto the second loop of the race. Max elevation in one climb is 598ft.
