Info for Riders

Starting and finishing in Wooler, Gateway to The Cheviots, The Wooler Wheel takes you on a circular tour through stunning scenery and challenging climbs. A cycle ride to be remembered through 8,000 years of history within beautiful Glendale, North Northumberland. It has a total ascent of 1495m and will appeal to the serious cyclist as well as the first time sportive rider. Helmets are compulsory for this event No minimum age on the 100k and the 50k (parental consent forms for under 18’s and under 16’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult). Consent forms can be obtained by e-mailing the event organiser. Please make sure that any under 18’s are capable of completing the route. Helmets are compulsory for this event and no tri or aero bars allowed.
