Children across West Berkshire are invited to take part in a fun-filled morning of cycling in Newbury on Thursday 13th April from 11am – 1pm.

West Berkshire Council’s Public Health & Wellbeing Team have partnered up with British Cycling and Newbury Road Club to deliver a cycle coaching event at Newbury Showground for 5-14-year-olds. There will be the chance to have a go at cycle competition.

Bring along your own bike and helpmet, A small numbetr of moutain bikes and helmets will be available to loan.

Younger children (3-4 year olds) will be able to join in with some balance bike games and activities while their older siblings are busy.  Balance bikes and helmets will be provided.

This is a unique opportunity for children to try competitive cycling and receive coaching from British Cycling coaches. More cycle coaching events are planned during the summer.

Cost £1.00 registration.

Bring along drinks and snacks for the activity and a packed lunch.
