Event Overview

The Crafted Classique returns on Saturday 12th August for the 4th year running, sponsored by digital agency Crafted and in association with British Cycling.

Continuing to build on the past 3 years' success, the Crafted Classique blends beautiful surroundings with a selection of exciting routes suitable for all abilities, quality local produce and a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere. The Crafted Classique really is the premier cycling sportive of East Anglia.

Challenge yourself to cycle 55km, 100km or 100miles through the stunning Suffolk landscape and picturesque coastal scenes. Beginning at the historic Ipswich Marina with its unique maritime architecture, rolling out across the Suffolk countryside through idyllic towns and villages. The 100mile course stretches all the way up to Aldeburgh on the Heritage Coast, before returning to the Neptune Marina finishing line for live music, fresh cider and beer, a post-ride massage and complimentary hog roast.

About the Event

Info for Riders

Great coffee, stunning countryside, delicious food and refreshing beer. Three fantastic routes to challenge all levels - 100 miles, 100 km or 55km with full support and hospitality guaranteed.

Entry fee includes morning coffee and bacon roll before you set off, hog roast and beer on completing the route, feed stations along the route and timing chip.

Riders can set off anytime from 7am from Cult Bar and must return by 6pm when the timing chip system will cut off. 

Please collect your timing chip and rider number at registration (even if you've signed up online), we are open from 4-8pm Friday night (11th) and 6am - 12noon on the Saturday (12th) both at Cult Bar. 

You can also enter on the day but please note this is £5 more at £30.

Crafted Classique Jerseys are available to purchase with your ride entry and can be collected from registration.  The sizes of the jerseys tend to be slightly smaller than normal so please consider ordering the next size up for comfort. Please see https://www.owayo.com/cycling-custom-jerseys/sizes.htm for more information. Orders for the jersey package must be placed by July 8th.  

Please note triathlon handlebars or other time trial bar extensions are not permitted in British Cycling registered sportive events and will not be permitted in the Crafted Classique. 

This year we have partnered up with St Elizabteh Hospice who will be our official charity. The Hospice aims to provide and improved life for those living with a progressive illness through palliative care. To find out more or make a donation please visit: www.stelizabethhospice.org.uk/donate/
