Eligibility

All entrants must:

• Be British nationals (i.e. hold a British passport denoting status as British Citizen).
• If holding dual nationality, or having changed nationality, be recognised under the procedures of the UCI and British Cycling as holding British nationality for the purpose of cycling competition.
• Hold a valid full racing licence issued by a UCI-recognised cycling federation.
• Hold a British Cycling “Race” membership at gold or silver level.

ENTRY PROTOCOL

No late entries shall be considered or permitted.

Riders withdrawing after the closing date or failing to start shall not be eligible for a refund. Withdrawals before the closing date will only incur the £1 admin fee.

Where events are oversubscribed, a reserve list may be established. 

Once published, the start list, including any reserves, shall be final, and shall not be amended or supplemented.

Team entry provision available to national series events does not apply. There is no limit to the number of riders that can be entered from any one team, and substitutions are strictly prohibited – any rider withdrawing or failing to start may NOT be replaced by another rider from the same team.

1. Neither British Cycling nor the event organiser will enter into any correspondence regarding race selections.

RESERVE PROTOCOLS

Riders may indicate at point of entry whether they are willing to be listed as a reserve.
Riders selected as reserves will be charge the full entry fee at point of selection.
A rider selected as a reserve is expected to be present at event sign-on, ready to race.
Should there be insufficient places to allow a reserve rider to start, the entry fee will be refunded. Refunds will not be considered should a reserve rider withdraw after the closing date or not be present at sign on.

Rider Selection:

Riders finishing in the top 10 of the previous year’s National Junior Road Race Championship who are still eligible.
Riders in accordance with British Cycling National Rankings on the closing date of entries: 1^st category, then 2^nd, then 3^rd, then 4^th. 
Discretionary places for riders not otherwise covered by the above, e.g. holding licences issued by another Federation and therefore not eligible for British Cycling National Ranking points.  Such riders shall be chosen on merit based on results of road races in overseas events in the year of competition up to the closing date for entries.  Discretionary places shall not exceed 10% of the maximum declared field size.
