Having now reviewed matters and explored the potential of rescheduling this event it has proved impossible, regrettably the reason for the initial cancellation persists. In view of this unfortunate cancellation and being unable to reschedule Velo Club Venta will now organise refunds to pre-entered riders through the BC online facility. Thank you for your patience and support.

Velo Club Venta is sorry to announce that due to circumstances beyond its control this event has had to be cancelled. We will be looking into the possibility of rescheduling on a date in October.

This event is part of a series of four criteriums being promoted by Velo Club Venta in 2017. This is the third year that VC Venta has promoted events on this circuit . This year, in addition to prizes for each individual race meeting, there will also be a prize awarded to the best placed rider in each race category over the series. To qualify for these prizes, riders must compete in at least three out of the four rounds and their three best results will determine positions.

A separate womens race will be held, providing there is a minimum of 8 riders signed on.If there are not sufficient entries for a separate race the women will ride with the 3rd category men.
