About the Event

Info for Riders

Both routes are mainly off-road, with some short on-road sections and junctions to negotiate. You should feel confident riding on and off road. We recommend MTBs but cyclo-cross will be fine too.

Not a race: we'll try to give you your times but more about having a fun day out. Above all, it'll be safe, hard work and muddy!

Rolling starts 9am to 10am: you will be set off in groups of max 20 two minutes apart.

Please respect other bridleway users: they will be open to walkers, horse-riders and other cyclists as normal. When on-road please ride carefully and observe the Highway Code: the roads are not closed and it's not a race!

There'll be a food station and marshals to look after you. But please bring essential supplies: puncture repair, food, drink, and clothing to adapt to whatever the elements throw at us.

Note that you can easily switch routes on the day. Juniors (u18) may only do the 25km shorter route, accompanied by an adult please.
