About the Event

Info for Riders

A non-competitive cycle challenge with a choice of five fully signposted courses: 30, 50, 70, 90 and 100miles.

The Cotswolds is well known for its beautiful countryside, gentle wolds, with river valleys, water meadows, beech woods and sleepy limestone villages.

A mix of flatlands, rolling hills and sharp escarpments makes this area very special for bike rides such as the JOLE RIDER AUTUMN COTSWOLD SPORTIVE.

By riding in this event you will experience all this scenery and more! Our routes select the quiet roads with less traffic, avoiding busy roads.

By riding our event you will also be helping us to purchase our first Bikes4Africa Box Trailer. This will be used to rescue bikes from all over the United Kingdom and Ireland which would otherwise have been destroyed and wasted. Instead, the bikes will be used to support the Bikes4Africa programme which delivers bikes to schools in rural Africa.

The event is centred on Westonbirt School, house and gardens, set in acres of stunning parkland with superb facilities for an event of this type. It is located close to the historic market town of Tetbury, known for its boutique shops, and a town which is rapidly becoming Gloucestershire's centre of cycling.

Please note:

The deadline for online entries is midnight on Fri 22 Sep.

After the deadline, entry is on the day, with payment in cash.

A hot meal after the ride can only be guaranteed for riders who register by midnight on Wed 20 Sep and provide their choice of meal by the deadline for this.

All riders who complete their challenge, sign in all the Feed Stations and raise a minimum of £100 for Bikes4Africa will be entered into a prize draw to win a holiday in Athens.

There are also prizes for Teams: a prize for the Team which rides the combined most miles on the day, plus a prize for the Team whose members raise the most funds for Bikes4Africa.
