Event Overview

During November to March, a Race Series is held which offers racing for all abilities and ages. Classes for five age ranges plus Cruiser and MTB will be run and the more experienced riders will be moved up to a higher class. If enough riders appear for the first round the number of classes may be increased.

2016 Classes are: 7 & Under 8-10 Yr. 11-13Yr. 14-16yr. 17+. Cruiser/ MTB Male and female riders race together but Male Riders may elect to ride up one class and Female Riders may ride up or down one class. PLEASE NOTE – BC BMX Regulations apply – including clothing – Long Sleeves, Long trouser, Full Face Helmets, full finger gloves.

The club has a limited selection of helmets and gloves for hire.

Directions: From the A1 turn off at Baldock and take A505 to Royston. Turn right at the second roundabout (A1198 Junction) or from M11 turn off at Duxford onto A505 to Royston and turn left at second roundabout. After the A505 roundabout, travel 100m and straight over the roundabout by the superstore and then continue 100m to next roundabout and turn left into Burns Road - signposted to School and community centre. Pass the school on the left to the roundabout and turn right. The track entrance is the first left 5m after road island. The track is usually signed by small green/yellow BMX stickers on the road signs.

Cost To Race is £3 per member and £5 per non member. Saturday afternoon series running first Saturday of each month from November 5th through to March. Gates Open at 12.30pm and registration 1.00pm to 1.30pm racing from about 1.45pm to 15.30pm
