Event Overview
Our 'All Road' route has been put together to showcase the highlights of riding, both on and off road, in the Ribble Valley. The route mainly consists of scenic country lanes, venturing onto unpaved roads and tracks at three points along the route.
This event is a great opportunity to put your All-Road or CX bike through its paces or simply enjoy an adventurous day out on the bike!
This year's more challenging route crosses the Bowland Fells via Salter Fell Road, which follows most of the route of the old Roman Road. It's a challenging gravel climb that will reward you with spectacular views in all directions.
Gravel Rush is run in aid of North West Air Ambulance, with all of the event's proffits being donated to the charity.
Your entry includes:
- Fully Signed route
- Marshalled route (including checkpoints)
- Feed Station
- Mechanical support (provided by Cytech qualified mechanics)
- Broom Wagon
- GPX files and STRAVA route
- Post ride refreshments in The Green Jersey cafe

Moderate route - 40 miles with 3,600 ft of climbing, taking in two off road sections.
Challenging route - 56 miles with 5,600 ft of climbing, taking in three off road sections.
The routes for this even have been designed with a Gravel bike in mind. The route is also suitable for mountain bikes and Cyclocross bikes.
