Event Summary

Event Overview

It's back!  For the second year, Bewdley Bike Week is returning to bring cycling to the local community with a whole week of all things bikes.  From on road to off road, adults to kids, riding to maintenance, and loads more, the Bike Week commitee have put together a brilliant week of activities, rides and workshops for everyone and anyone to get involved in.

The week kicks off on Bank Holiday Monday with a Road Sportive hosted by Step Out.  For those that took part last year, the event HQ is the same (St Georges Hall), right in the centre of town.  There are 2 routes on offer this year: a 30 miler and a 50 miler (which is specifically 48.1 miles).  Both will start and finish in the same place, and take in some of the stunning scenery that Worcestershire and South Shropshire has to offer.  The 30 mile will split at the top of Catherton Common and back into Cleobury Mortimer, whereas the 50 mile will carry straight on towards Clee Hill.

Both routes will have a mixture of quiet back roads, stunning views, long descents and tough climbs.  A real mixed bag.

Registration will open at 11am at the event HQ (St Georges Hall).  Set off for the 50 miler will be 12pm, followed very shortly after by the 30 miler.
