A modern twist to the Reliability Trial: The Selfie Challenge. After a successful and sold-out event in 2015, the challenge organised by Clwb Beicio Dwyfor returns in 2016 and will again consist of 2 challenging, scenic routes of 80km and 110km along quiet country lanes.

CB Dwyfor is a family based club which runs weekly coaching sessions for local kids in a safe environment. The money raised from the 2015 event was spent on supporting talented riders in regional and national level races as well as purchasing tops for 2 young volunteers who supported the coaches at the club throughout the season.

The event will not be timed nor will there be a support crew, fancy feed stations, goody bags nor hefty price tag....just you, your bike, good company, a map and the scenic country lanes of the Lleyn Peninsula! Entry fee will be £10 for 2016 which includes post-ride refreshments. All profit will go to support and develop young riders in our club 

There will be cafes and shops along the route should you wish to replenish supplies, but there won't be any checkpoints in the traditional sense; The 'checkpoints' will be in the form of a 'selfie' (photo of yourself) taken at 3 key spots during your ride (different ones to last year). The best 'selfie' uploaded to the event's Facebook page or emailed to the club address will win a prize!

At the end of your epic ride, the ladies of Pwllheli hockey club will provide refreshments (included in entry price).

Riders will need to ensure they are back at the club by 2:45pm at the latest (or miss out on scrumptious cakes!!)

12-18 year old must provide a parental consent form and ride with a responsible adult.

Reserve place by requesting a registration form via email to: beiciodwyfor@gmail.com Payment will be on the day. Deadline: 3/4/16 (unless maximum limit is reached prior to this date). Registration & finish at Clwb Chwaraeon Pwllheli, Efailnewydd. Event checking-in times: 8:15am-9:30am (no entry on the day) Start times between 8:30am-9:45am. All riders must finish by 2:45pm. Refreshments at the sports club at the finish (included in price)
