Event Summary

Event Overview

There aren’t many better incentives to get out on your bike than the return of the Land of Hops & Glory cycle sportive, taking place on Sunday 10th April 2016.

This fun, non-competitive ride starts and finishes at Wye Valley Brewery in Stoke Lacy. The stunning 56.8-mile ‘Full Pint’ route winds its way around quiet Herefordshire lanes, taking in views of Hay Bluff, the distant Welsh mountains and many of the region’s reknowned hop farms.

The route will also take you towards the Malvern Hills, the inspiration behind many of the works by composer Edward Elgar – not least of which being the rousing Land of Hope & Glory.

On completion of the ride, you can refuel with the help of locally produced food and drink, and receive a unique memento of the day.

The organisers look forward to welcoming riders to this event and should you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact us.

Happy cycling.
