Event Overview
As the name suggests, you’ll start your chase in Cannock. Chasing what I hear you ask? Well the answers lays with your imagination, it could be **insert the name of your favourite rider here**, it could be the time you’ve always wanted to achieve or simply the rider in front of you!!
The first course is The Full Chase with a distance of 119 km/ 74 miles, our shorter course The Half Chase is 79 km/ 49 miles. The Full Chase has just short of 3500ft of climbing, with The Half Chase having as you’d expect around 1700ft
On each route expect:
- Event centre facilities
- A clearly signed/arrowed route
- GPX route maps
- Starting line gifts
- Feed stations en route, providing energy products, water, fruit etc
- Mechanical support
- Medical support
- Event photographer
- Chip timing for an instant post-event time
- Gold, silver and bronze finishing time. Separate women award times
- Online certificates
- Refreshments at the finish
- Event T-Shirt
- Registration opens at 7.30am - set off riding at any time between 8.00 and 9.30am.
The Full Chase:
After leaving Cannock Chase the route takes you towards Great Bridgford, via Hatherton Junction and Newport before turning and heading towards Stone before making the final run for home heading through Bramshall and Rugeley and then finally back to Cannock Chase.
The Half Chase:
Follows the route of The Full Chase route to Great Bridgeford where the routes will split and you'll be heading back to Cannock Chase via Bradley, Parkridge and Hatherton
PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS A NON COMPETITIVE EVENT, AND ALL RIDERS MUST ADHERE TO THE HIGHWAY CODE AT ALL TIMES.
