Event Summary

Event Overview

Once again the tried and tested Little Lumpy is back for 2016. Now in its 7th year it is bigger and better than ever!

Starting again in Haslemere we take you through the prettiest parts of the Sussex and Hampshire Weald to the South Downs at South Harting where the Challenge and Epic routes branch off to take you over some testing little climbs.

A ‘not-for-profit’ event raising money for Haslemere Festival and this year’s partner charity, Haslemere Citizens Advice Bureau, Little Lumpy is a great way to support the community and provides you with a fantastic day’s riding in return.

New for 2016 is the Taster route, designed for families to take part together, on a 20 mile route made as flat as possible!

The home cooked food provided for riders at feeding stations around the course has now become legendary and is probably the best to be found at any Cycling Sportive throughout the country.

For those less local, we have arranged special rates for cyclists at the Georgian Hotel in Haslemere, so please do follow us on Facebook or Twitter. For more general information on accommodation in the area, please visit the Haslemere Visitor and Local Information Centre.

We will again have the start and finish point at the Woolmer Hill Sports Association Club House at Woolmer Hill. As well as free parking we are able to provide changing facilities, showers, toilets and all the facilities associated with a modern clubhouse.
