Event Summary

Event Overview

Cycle sportive around the country roads of the Ribble Valley, taking in the stunning views from the top of the Trough of Bowland, Waddington Fell and Bleasdale.

A relaxed event focusing more on enjoying the day than setting a fast time, with a cafe stop half way round and an all you can eat buffet on your return. A tombola with great prizes will be at the finish area and ample parking and changing facilities available.

A guided family ride is also run on the day, starting at 11:00am consisting of a 10 mile ride to a cafe stop then return. The route is as flat as the terrain allows and has proved popular in the past with young riders and riders new to cycling as there is no pressure to set a pace, the ride stays as a group.
