We're looking for people from all over the south west to take part in our bike ride - Ride For Radiotherapy.

Choose from cycling 30 miles, 70 miles or a 100 miles.

Those cycling 70 miles are cycling the equivalent of what a cancer patient drives to receive one session of radiotherapy as part of their cancer treatment.

On average our patients travel up to 40 times for their treatment.

These routes are subject to change and all riders should register with us on the day for the final briefing.

Each year hundreds of Swindon Cancer patients travel on average 2,500 miles each to receive essential radiotherapy treatment.

At one of the most vulnerable times in their lives they make this journey away from their support network.

We need to raise £2.9 million in order to equip Swindon with the facilities which will be housed in a new radiotherapy building at the Great Western Hospital.

With eight people every day being diagnosed with cancer most of us either know someone effected or have been personally affected - this is our chance to support the biggest improvement in cancer care in Swindon for over a generation.
