Rider Development Session - Lee Valley Velodrome Madison Session

Go-Ride , London – Sunday, 30 Aug 2015

Event Summary

Event Overview

These sessions are for senior riders and advanced youths (Youth A racing riders only).

Madison experience is essential, and every rider must be accredited to race at either Lee Valley or Herne Hill. Riders must also have their own bikes.

Madison Intermediate group: It is expected that riders are confident with madison slings in a simple group. You will progress to multiple changes in a faster, larger group.

Madison Advanced group:

It is expected that riders will have some experience of racing madison. This session is particularly aimed at riders who will be competing in the upcoming Dave Creasy 6 and other high level events. The group will ease into changes in a busy, fast group before looking at timing changes around sprints, attacking off changes and reverse change, flying 200s.
