Event Overview
The Inaugural NewForestXC Race will take place on Sunday 20th September at the excellent Avon Tyrell Youth activity centre located in the stunning new forest.
The race format will be familiar to most and will be a 2 hour endurance race with a mass start, all you have to do is put in as many laps as you can in the 2 hour time limit
The course offers a mixture of tight single-track, wider dual trails and some cheeky little climbs!
We are offering pre-entry through the BC entry system (you don’t need to be a member to enter) at only £19.50 (plus BC booking fee)
Plus there are entries on the day with £5 surcharge
Course will open at 08:30 for pre ridding
There will be a rider briefing at 09:45
We will be starting everyone at 10:00
The course will close at 12:00 and you may finish the lap you are on (sound familiar?)
The Podium will be at around 12:30 to allow everyone to finish the lap they are on and head back.
In addition to the race and the usual facilities the staff at Avon Tyrell will be on hand to offer the additional activities they offer such as Archery, Fishing and Canoeing & Kayaking. Etc. (for a small additional charge)
The venue offers a range of facilities for campers from camping to caravans and motorhomes (15ft Max) with some electric hook-ups, they also have some Tipis to hire (Charges payable) so you can make a weekend of it and explore some of the other great rides in the new forest
