Team Bongo & Hft Big Bike Challenge 2016

Event Summary

Event Overview

The event replicates the Rainbows Childrens Big Bike Challenge organised in 2013 raising over £30k but this time in Scotland. The event is a challenge and is open to all riders covering 120 miles over 3 days with over 4000 feet of climbing each day with some fantastic views.

This is not a race in fact the more capable riders would be asked to support other, the challenge is for Any rider but they must practice their distances and slowly build up to the 40 miles a day that is required,

The linked video shows the last event in 2013 all riders completed the 140 miles From Cannock to Aberystwyth.

 All riders will recieve membership to Team Bongo 2016.

The monies also covers food, campsites, First Aiders, BC Event Insurance, BC Event registration, an Osteopath for those end of day pains.

The event is a circular route finishing at the start point Aberfoyle, Stirling on Thursday 6th May with a BBQ and celebration, that evening, I would suggest that riders travelling a long distance arrive at Start point on Monday 2nd and depart on Friday 6th for their own safety, we will be arranging car parking at the start point and your camping gear will be transported to each campsite, please provide your own tentage.

More details will be available on the Hft website please register at that site you opt to pay your registration in 2 parts to spread the cost, the registration has been kept to a minimum for you of £125,00 for everthing, this also includes the Hft cycle top.
