Event Overview
There are two rides available as part of the 2015 Evesham Cyclefest. Both rides are open to individual entrants and family groups. Riders under the age of 16 are to be accompanied by an adult. Anyone under the age of 18 will be required to complete a parental consent form prior to starting the ride.
The Family Ride
This is a scenic circular 20 mile ride from Evesham to Pershore and back, with an alternative12.5 mile route if preferred. The route is mainly on quiet roads but also some tracks.The ride is suitable for touring, hybrid and mountain bikes. There are refreshment stops en route. Helmets must be worn. Entry fee: Adults £10, Children £5, ( note children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult) Family £20,(2 adults and up to 2children) Start time either 9:30 am or 10:30 am.
The Town Ride
An easy 3 mile circular ride along the River Avon to Evesham Sports Club and back via Bridge Street and Market Place. Ideal for small children or those with mobility problems. Riders may do 1 or 2 laps of the course. Entry fee £3 per person or £10 family (2 adults and up to 2 children). Start time 2:00 pm.
