These can also be kept as a reminder of your achievement.

The Route

Each route has been tried and tested to give you a ride designed to challenge and offer some of the best roads to cycle around our local counties. Each route will be fully signed (briefing on signs and routes will take place before each ride group leaves the football club) from start to finish.

To help, each route has been mapped and can be easily transferred to your Garmin via Garmin Connect or Mapometer using the links below. (Please note it would appear you need your Garmin Connect account OPEN on a web browser before you click the link. For trf to Garmin see your manual for details)

All routes have also been uploaded to Strava, so after the event you can see how you got on against other riders.

Feed Stations

  • The 100 mile route will have two feed stations. The first located at Broad Green mile 33, the second located in Stoke-by-Nayland mile 74
  • The 50 mile route will one feed station located at Stoke-by-Nayland mile 29
  • The 30 mile route will not have any feed station
  • Each feed station will have plenty of water, banana’s and cake!

When you’ve completed your challenge

Once you return back to the Football club there are shower facilities available and a fully licensed bar and BBQ so we hope you’ll stay for a drink, something to eat and catch up with old and new friends.

All this for only £14.99 (still one of the best value chip timed sportives on the market)

Important bits

  • Please remember our club fully supports safety at all times. Therefore you will be required to wear a helmet – NO HELMET, NO RIDE
  • Please also remember you will be sharing the roads with cars so please follow the highway-code at all times.
  • Although we have tried to avoid busy junctions, please make sure both ways are clear before crossing and DO NOT jump red lights....they are there for a reason.
  • Please make sure your bike is road fit and that you are carrying spare inner tube(s), pump, and tyre levers.
  • There is a good chance it will be hot, so please make your water bottles are full before you leave and make sure you have sunscreen.
  • Please note as there is no feed station on the 30 mile route, if you think you will require food/gels please make sure you have them before you set off.

The last two years have been fantastic events helping raise money for local charities. Both have been well supported with a great friendly family atmosphere. This is a club event not to be missed, not only for the fantastic scenery, cycling, but also staying when you’ve finished for a drink in the sun with friends…. (have I mentioned we have a fully licenced bar)
