Event Summary

Event Overview

This is the inaugural cycle sportive for the Community Matters Partnership Project in Farnborough, Hampshire and the first sportive to be held in the area. The event will fundraise for local projects which aim to raise aspirations and progression in young people.

The route is 11.5km of the Farnborough International Airport, made famous by the Farnborough International Airshow. All riders pay one price and can be challenged to complete 10 laps (115km) or 5 laps (57.5km). On the day however, riders are free to do as many laps of the circuit in the alloted time as they can and can return to the event HQ at anytime.

The event is chip timed and all usual benefits will be provided i.e. goody bag, finisher medal, rest station, mechanical and medical support. Parking and refreshments are available onsite.

A pecentage of all registrations fees will go to the Community Matters Partnership Project. At the point of registration you will be asked if you are fundraisng, and if so, whether for the Community Matters Partnership Project or the Frimley Park Hospital Breast Care Appeal. Please note that if you check either of these options, your details will be passed on so that fudraising packs can be sent out.

All riders must wear a cycle helmet. You cannot start without one. Triathlon bars must be removed. All riders must be 14 or over. All riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
