Event Summary

Event Overview

Bynea CC is running its second annual sportive and family ride following on from last year's success. This year we are partnering with Coleg Sir Gar and  we will be raising money for Prostate Cancer UK/ Tenovus and local health charities.

The flagship route will be a tough 64 mile loop with over 6300ft of climbing taking in Scotch Pine, Carreg Cennen, The National Botanic Gardens, before returning via Pontyates and a final climb over Pen Y Mynydd. There will be a shorter 45 mile option with 4400ft of climbing running alongside the long route with the option to switch between the two if you feel strong or not!

Once again, we are running family ride along the coastal cycle path up to Pembrey Country Park alongside the sportive.

There will be catering at the event HQ and 2 feed stations en route. The entry fee includes a pasta meal at the end of the ride.

The route will be signed and marshalled. Mechanical backup and a broomwagon will be present.
