Both routes take in the Lancashire Lanes

 Short Route

 The 34 mile route is for juniors and beginners, is fairly flat with two climbs Beacon Lane and Appley Bridge with1400 feet approx. of climbing.  At 17.5 mile passing the Delph Diving Centre anyone needing a pit stop, refreshments here will have to be paid for.

At the finish, everyone is welcome to join me for buffet/refreshments and birthday cake to celebrate my

65th Birthday!

  Long Route

 The 68 mile route is a little more challenging with just over 3000 feet of climbing atAppleyBridge,Sheep House LaneandBelmont.

Just before the climb at 30 mile there is a café stop at the bottom ofSheep House Lane, here you are treated to refreshments with your proof of ID which you will be given at the start.  The route continues throughAbbeyVillage, Brindle andLeyland, joins the shorter route going through Eccleston and Mawdesley then back to the finish.

Date of event 19th October start and finish at Haskyne Village hall between 9am - 10am riders to carry spares and helmet must be British standard also dress accordingly with the weather
