Event Summary

Event Overview

Long route.

This is a challenging 93mile/150K route with 8,359ft/2,550m of climbing. You'll be rewarded for your time in the saddle on the way through Silverton and Tiverton with some lovely sites of Devon’s rolling hills, finally resulting in an epic climb out of Dulverton alongside a river, leading up to the top of Exmoor and where the sights can only speak for themselves. Once the descent back out of the moors is over, you'll be rewarded once again with some fast undulating roads heading through Black Dog back towards Exeter Arena. Just when you think the climbing is over, you'll be met with a locally known, short, sharp climb up Wreford Lane towards the finish.  This is an awesome route, an awesome challenge in an awesome location. To top off your day there will be a hog roast available at the Finish.

Medium Route.

This challenging 60mile/96K route with 5,150ft/1,570m of climbing follows the first part of the Long route out to Tiverton where they split. You then follow along side the A361 across country taking in some sites of Devon’s beautiful rolling Hills, before joining the long route back to Exeter Arena. The ride home follows some long fast, undulating roads through Black Dog, with a locally know, short sharp climb up Wreford Lane to finish off your Legs and Lungs before your triumphant finish.

Short Route.

This 20mile/33K route still boasts 1,659ft/505m of climbing. What it lacks in distance is more than compensated by challenge. Splitting off from the Long and Medium route this takes you across country from Silverton to Thorverton to re-join the two longer routes on the return trip to Exeter Arena.

Finishing with the same short, sharp Wreford Lane before your triumphant finish.

All three routes will start and finish at Exeter Arena, where you'll have access to parking, changing facilities, showers and toilets. Also available will be mechanical help from Roots Cycle Works with some shop stock in case you need any last minute kit. To top off your day there will be a hog roast available at the Finish.
