Event Summary

Event Overview

We are pleased to announce that ourfifthCoast to Coast (C2C) Cycle Challenge will be taking place on Sunday 17th May 2015.

In 2014 almost 600 participants took part in this cycle challenge to raise much needed funds to keep Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance flying.

This event is not designed to be a race and involves cycling along some of Dorset and Somerset’s glorious springtime countryside, riding through some picturesque villages, waved on by the residents.  With a mix of quiet back roads and busier main roads, interspersed with some demanding climbs and hairy descents this challenge definitely offers something for everyone!

The event offers two routes.  For those who are not averse to a challenge, we have our 54 mile ride commencing in the historic Somerset port of Watchet at 11am, finishing in the beautiful Dorset seaside resort of West Bay.  For those who are a little less energetic why not partake in our 11 mile route commencing at 2pm from the beautiful Dorset village of Drimpton and finishing in West Bay.
