INFORMATION DESK

An information desk will be located at the entrance of the Parc des Expositions, Hall 2.

It will enable you:

• To get any information needed regarding the Indoor event planning, accommodation and camping facilities,

To confirm registration:

Engagement forms will only be given to pilots who have paid their engagement and show their 2015 licence card.

 

Bikes will enter from aside the Hall 1. It will be the same for the National teams, expected in

the commercial village: a second bracelet will be provided for them to circulate from the

paddock to the village and back. It will be forbidden to circulate with a bike in all areas open

to the public.

The paddock will be strictly forbidden to the public as ruled by the Bike National

Federation. In case of verbal or physical incident, the Indoor organisation may decide to

exclude people involved.

For National Teams, 2 badges will be delivered at the information desk.

Information desk opening hours :

• Friday : 5.00 pm - 11.00 pm

• Saturday / Sunday : from 7.00 am

 

PLATES

 

Each BMX bike will have to be equipped with a lateral registration plate, in addition to

its frontal plate. The lateral plate will be used for arrival checks with finish snapshots.

Any participant whose bike is not equipped with a legal lateral plate will not be

allowed to compete, nor to take part to test races.

Numbers sticked on the frame are forbidden (ref. BMX Championship rules about

lateral plates).

REGISTRATIONS

 

Each federation will receive, from the FFC, an entry form which will have to be

sent back to Jonathan NOYANT (j.noyant@ffc.fr)

.

Payment of entries in cash at registration control by the team leader. The deadline for

registration is set on Monday February 9th, 2015

(For any registration received after Monday February 9th, 2015, a late fee will be applied

(National Rule). Late registrations can only be accepted if there is still free space on the

moto sheets.

After Thursday, February 12th at 8 a.m., no further registration will be possible

Any cancellation must be reported to Jonathan NOYANT.

There will be no refund for such cancellation.

 

 

CLASSES

 

The girls who want to register in cruiser class will race with the boys in their age class

REWARDS

Trophies and prizes will be given to the 3 first pilots of each category on the podium during

the Award Ceremony.

Tickets will be delivered by the organization and given to the 4th to 8th pilots at the end of

finals, allowing them to get their prizes out of the Award Ceremony (At the information desk)

In Cruiser races only, the 8 first pilots will be also rewarded.

If the rider does not take his award during the weekend, theses will be given at Caen

BMX. And the rider can not longer claim his award.

 

SUPERCROSS MEN & WOMEN

 

The awards will be a BMX parts and technical parts.

Special bus will drive you from Caen train station, Caen-Carpiquet airport and

Ouistreham harbour to the hotels which are our partners for the event and are listed

below in the accommodation section. For bookings, you can send a mail to

navetteindoor@free.fr, and provide the details of your time and arrival place, as well

as your hotel.

CAR PARK

 

The car park located nearby the parc des expositions will be free for cars and camping-cars.

 

 

FOOD

A restaurant area will be managed by the event organization during the 2-days competition:

· Take away : sandwiches, drinks, …

· Hot meals

We will do our best to propose typical Normandy food : french fries (fresh !), « tripes à la

mode de Caen », « andouille » and a lot of other food produce of our region.

• Pizza : Our partnership «Pizza hut» will be present all the weekend.

SECURITY

Security will be ensured by the local police but the organiser cannot be made responsible

for any theft or damage which may occur in the car-park, in the hall or in the race-park.

We kindly ask camping-car owners to take care of their neighbours and not to occupy a

larger place than allowed in the car park.

 

ACCOMODATION

We advise you to book rooms in one of the Louvre group hotels which is our

partner for the event.

Hotels of the Louvre Group are proposing special services to participants are listed in

appendix. Tell them you participate to the Caen International Indoor and they will allow you

to benefit from their special offer.

Caravaning is allowed in the Parc des Expositions area and free of charge. No services are

provided : eg. no electricity.

 

VILLAGE AND PADDOCK AERA

Space and prices

( Paddock is not a public space. Only for riders. VILLAGE AERA is a public space )

Without booking is not possible to install a stand. You must apply by email at

caenbmx@free.fr. As back, we will give you a form that you must fill out and send back as

quickly as possible.

TELEVISION

The event will be filmed by Normandie TV with Laurent Venditelli as a speaker.

You could find a live of the event on the website caenbmxindoor.fr for €4.50 for all the

weekend.

It’s economic model, we have not the choice in spite of a strong partnership with

Normandie TV.

 

 

 

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Around the race track, you will find :

· bikes sellers, confectionnery, gadgets, clothes, etc.

· attractions , games, etc.

We will do our very best for you to enjoy this 2-days event.

The information desk will provide you any help you might need.

Returnable glasses

Re-usable glasses will enable us to significantly reduce the amount of waste and to keep the

premises clean.

The principle is as follows :

1. The user gets his re-usable glass against 1 € or he pays + 1€ for his 1st drink

2. The user uses his glass during the 2 days

3. The user returns his glass and 1€ is given back to him, or the user keeps his glass as a

souvenir
