Event Overview
Like its sister event, the Spring Skylark, this Sportive gives you the thrill of riding the same landscape that made the Tour de France's visit in 2014 and the Tour de Yorkshire's visit in 2015 so tough, yet visually thrilling. Away from selected spectacular upland A-Roads, the Autumn Skylark generally keeps to the quiet lanes that thread through the unique landscapes of the South Pennines. This is a ride of high moorland edges, stone-built hamlets, weavers’ cottages, challenging climbs and descents. All-in-all, it's a thorough introduction to the UK’s most fashionable cycling region.
