Event Overview

The Biking Belles Cycling Grand Prix 2015

This is a women's only cycling event to be held at the fabulous Goodwood Motor Circuit in West Sussex on Sunday August 30, 2015.

The Biking Belles Grand Prix 2015 now in its second year is a celebration of women's cycling and an invitation to welcome novice and elite cyclists alike to experience an extraordinary day of cycling.

We have a new dedicated website: www.bikingbellesgrandprix.com

This year the Grand Prix is supporting a well deserved local charity: St Wilfrid's Hospice which provides skill and compassionate care and treatment for people living with a life limiting illness.

http://www.stwh.co.uk/

£3 from each entry fee will be donated directly to St Wilfrid's. Sponsorship forms will also be available from: fundraising@stwh.co.uk and by calling 01243 755827.

Once again we will be offering Cycle The Circuit to all those ladies who would like to just cycle around the circuit at their leisure and enjoy the experience. The cost will be £15 and you will receive a Cycle The Circuit certificate at the end of your ride. Just turn up on the day and have fun! This option is available as from 1pm - 2pm.

For the first time this year we are offering a Starter Sportive for those ladies who are new to sportives. It's a comfortable 12 mile route starting off by completing one lap of the Goodwood circuit. This will be a great introduction to sportives - the first of its kind in the southeast area!

So this year we are offering four sportives - 12m, 35m, 50m and 70m all once again completing one lap of the Goodwood motor circuit and then off cycling in the surrounding Sussex and Hampshire countryside. Goody bags will be given to all participants.

Following the sportives we will commence the thrilling Ladies Elite Racing. Once again we are proud to have the support of our patron: The Countess of March & Kinrara. The first Elite race will be named in her honour: The Lady March Grand Prix.
