The 'Circuit of the Fens Pro-Elite Classic' will not be a part of BC's Elite Grand Prix Series in 2015.

A place in BC's Elite Spring Cup Series was available on Sunday 19th April but it was an offer that we had to refuse.

Consequently, the 'Circuit of the Fens Pro-Elite Classic' will be a stand-alone National A.

However, the July date enables the race to maintain it's distinctive character and is likely to be the longest road event on the UK domestic calendar.

To be held over mainly good roads - no gravel section this year - the terrain is pan flat with only the occasional humped-back bridge. Beware of the sting in the tail though, Wype Drove, 2 miles long and the only way back to the town, is narrow and rough so be careful with wheel selection. Winds across the fens are likely to provide the biggest obstacle for the riders to overcome, with echelons likely to be the order of the day.

Thanks to Cambridgeshire Highways, the race will benefit from a rolling road closure enforced by Cambridgeshire Police with NEG support. The finishing straight will be totally closed for the start and finish of the race.

Neutral service, paramedics and a following ambulance will be on hand for both races along with photo-finish and full results service. Ample off-road parking, refreshments and shower facilities will be available at the race HQ.
