About the Event

Info for Riders

This event is aimed at beginners/novice riders. This event is ONLY open to riders from Go-Ride Clubs that have delivered Go-Ride Racing events in the Winter period (from October 2014-March 2015). If you are unsure, please check with your club or Jenny Nicholson before entering. BMX is fantastic fun, and this is the perfect opportunity for riders to be coached by British Cycling coaches at the start of the session, and then move on to practice their skills in Go-Ride Races at the end of the session. Trying new disciplines will help improve balance and coordination, sprinting skills and bike handling techniques that will benefit riders in their development. Bikes and Helmets are provided. Sign on opens at 9am, but the session starts at 10am. Please arrive by 9.45am at the latest. Riders will be split into the following groups: Beginner Boys Group - boys with no BMX experience Beginner Girls Group - girls with no BMX experience Beginner Plus Group - mixed group with some BMX experience.
