Event Overview

Cycle swarms are non competitive events for riders of all abilities. If you're new to cycling, why not try our 25 mile course? If you're an experienced cyclist, why not try the 50 Mile or stunning 100 mile course?

There are rest areas along the routes, 1 on the 25, 2 on the 50 and 4 on the 100 where there are free refreshments available - You'll also get a medal and certificate. All our rides are photographed and the photos are free to download from our website after the event.

Our partner charity for Ipswich Cycle Swarm is Cancer Research UK.

About the Event

Info for Riders

With events happening all over East Anglia, the Swarm heads to Christchurch Park on the 4th October for the 3rd annual Ipswich Cycle Swarm event. There are 3 route lengths to choose from, either 25, 50 or 100 miles. All routes head out of Ipswich and pass some stunning Suffolk towns and villages before heading back to Christchurch Park. Our events are open to anyone to enter, do if you're a beginner or an experienced cyclist there is a route to suit you. The start time will be staggered and we will let you know your start time in your entry pack. The 100 mile route will start between 0800 - 0900 The 50 Mile route will start between 0900 - 1000 The 25 Mile route will start between 1000 and 1030. All participants receive an all new Cycle Swarm medal, certificate, free event photographs, and free snacks at rest stops. There is also mechanical support and professional first aid cover if need.
